Rachel teaches Therapeutic and AntenatalYoga classes and workshops in Belper, Derbyshire. She has practised Yoga for 20 years and trained to teach with the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India.
Classes combine Yoga Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises), Savasana (relaxation) and Meditation practice to improve your flexibility, strength, coordination, posture and most importantly, inner peace. Yoga is the perfect antidote to stress and tension.
Rachel’s Yoga classes are suitable for most people and postures are always adapted to meet each person’s body, needs and abilities. It is particularly good for those suffering with back ache as recent research shows:
